*** Important Society Business Report from ISA Houston***                    

Delegate Tom Fillers gives this report

At the Annual meeting on Oct. 13, 2008, the following motions were approved.

1. The name change of ISA to: The International Society of Automation

2. Dues increase to $100.00 from $85.00 with the member receiving TWO Division memberships free (separately, each would have cost $9.00).

3. Section rebate percentage reduced to 15% from 20% with the elimination of section contribution to district travel fund (This actually represents a cost savings of 25% for the Mobile section).
